Well this past weekend I went to an event called "Quest for the Holy Pail". It was hosted by the shire of Rookshaven and held at the Little Creek Ranch in Corinth, MS. This was the second time for the event and my family and I greatly enjoyed it as it was bigger and better than last year.

My daughter and her friends enjoyed the children's activities which included multiple scenes from the Monty Python movie. I will try to post some photos later, but if anyone gets a chance to go there next year, by all means, go.

St. Alphege Captured
Alphege (or Elphege or Aelfheah), Archbishop of Canterbury, was captured by marauding Danes, held prisoner for months, and eventually murdered. He refused to allow himself to be ransomed because the money would have had to be raised by taxing the people. After his death he was venerated as a martyr, and the parish church of Greenwich is dedicated to him.
